To start things off, I’d like to thank you for reading this. I truly appreciate you taking out the time to come read my blog once again. Some of you may be checking out The Sports Tap for the first time while there are some that have been to the site before. Let me please just give you guys a quick introduction about what you can expect (hopefully) right away and in the coming months.
The blog and posts will be covering mostly sports. Other topics will also be covered including beer and pop culture. I will do my best to avoid political and social issues but I cannot make any guarantees. This blog is intended to be light-hearted and an escape. In the past I have tried to write in a style that was not truly me and that should change. Look for more sarcasm and bolder takes. If you know me personally, then you know how I speak and I will look to convey that more in my writing. If you don’t know me, I want you to know that when you read my posts you are getting the true me.
The plan is to post 3 weekly features that should remain consistent in nature. As I am available there will also be more short takes on hot topics throughout the week. There will also be guest-contributors. They will be writing whenever they see fit and it whatever style they would like. I’m always open to letting others contribute so if you would like to, please just contact me: TheSportsTap@gmail.com
In the future, there are hopes for a podcast as well as GoPro videos revolving around attending sporting events. I am open to each and every way that I can try to get my voice (or yours) heard. I’m going to try and use connections to get real interviews and guest spots. Also, be on the lookout for a new logo which eventually can go on shirts, hats, and other items.
I would like The Sports tap to actually continue this time and eventually be something that people really enjoy. If you have any ways you think we can improve, please don’t hesitate to speak up. I appreciate any comments, or if you specialize in something that could be of assistance I would love to hear from you.
Please don’t forget to “Like Us” on Facebook; Follow us on Twitter (@TheSportsTap_), on Instagram (TheSportsTap). Share and like all our articles if you enjoy them. I hope to really make this something that I can continue way into the future and that everyone enjoys. Thanks for reading again!
