Last night I wrote a blog about how I’m going back to writing a blog. Tonight is a great night to showcase a couple of the hurdles to really getting on top of it. There are three great games to watch and write and tweet about: The MLB Playoffs, the Color Rush NFL game, and a top-25 college football game. There’s just one tiny catch; I don’t have cable.
There are multiple platforms that sports can be watched on. The problem is that most of those platforms require a name and password from your cable. I got that from a friend, but it doesn’t solve my final problem. Getting all these games on different screens.
Tonight, I went with the NFL game on the TV, through Amazon Prime Video on Xbox One. I had the MLB on the iPad on the Fox Sports Now app. Lastly, pulled the college game up on the phone on the ESPN app. It’s great that you can access all of these games. Problem is, the apps crash quite a bit. Also, when you have all 3 up and running, my crap internet service lags. Finally, as I’m writing this, I go on Twitter and realize that the NFL game is behind on Amazon and my tweets are not very timely.
Kind of hard to keep on top of sports when you can’t see the sports. Looks like I might go out on Thursdays and tweet from the bar. These are the Breaks.
